We are thrilled to be hosting over 100 singers in beautiful Victoria, B.C. for our third annual Summer Choral Festival. 

Singers gather from July 20-26, and perform a final concert in beautiful Christ Church Cathedral with choral legend HOWARD DYCK on Saturday, July 27, 2024 at 7.30pm

 

Our main work will be the stunning Mozart Requiem (Robert Levin completion), conducted by Howard Dyck, and featuring soloists Karoline Podolak, Susan Platts, Daniel Taylor, Benjamin Butterfield, and Daniel Okulitch. Our final performance will take place at historic Christ Church Cathedral at 7.30pm on July 27.

Our program will also feature music by Healy Willan, Felix Mendelssohn, an early choral work by Arnold Schoenberg, and pieces by Kathleen Allan, Andrew Balfour, and our feature composer, Stephanie Martin.

Faculty and Performers includes Howard Dyck, feature composer Stephanie Martin, Artistic Director and conductor, Kathryn Whitney, pianist and vocal coaches Kinza Tyrrell and Jany Lu, STN Conducting Fellow Katrina MacKinnon and vocal coach and performer, counter-tenor Daniel Taylor. We will have a full complement of section leads made up of some of the top young singers in Victoria: Juliane Kennett, Heather Byford, Felix Butterfield, Adam Dyjach, Jordan Rettich, and Colby Earnhart.
