Refund Policy


We are pleased to be singing with you and thank you for your interest in SING THE NORTH family of choirs.

This return policy outlines when our customers can and cannot return the goods and services we sell through the choir shop. Please read this carefully before making a purchase on this website.

Return of physical goods

We have a 14-day return policy for physical goods such as merchandise. This means that you have 14 days after receiving your physical item to request a return.

To start a return of a physical item, please contact us at stnadmin (at) If your return is accepted, we will notify you by email when the return has been processed.

Damages and issues of physical goods

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and provide you with the product you ordered in good condition.

Non-returnable virtual items and services

We deal primarily in digital goods which, once downloaded, cannot be physically returned by our customers. For this reason, we regret that there can be no returns on online concert projects, digital courses, or virtual events after any download link sent to customers following purchase has been clicked by the customer. Also, we regret that we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges of virtual goods and services

You may request an exchange of a virtual item or service or a physical good for another item of the same value. In the event that an exchange is requested, we will refund the first item once the customer has purchased the replacement item.

Refunds of virtual goods and services

We understand that circumstances change are we are always interested in supporting customers who are experiencing hardship.

If you have purchased a virtual service through our shop and are unable to participate for medical or personal reasons, please write to us at stnadmin (at) singthenorth (dot) ca.

If your request is approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method less a $10 handling fee. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Refunds of in-person services and courses

We are always happy to refund purchases of in-persons courses and events in the event of illness or emergency. Please write to us at stnadmin (at) to explain your circumstances and we will issue a full refund.

If you register for a course and, upon reviewing the score downloads within 14 days of purchase, believe the course to be too difficult for you, please write to us to discuss a change of your participation level or partial refund. We regret that we cannot issue a full refund once you have clicked any links on our course or project guides that give you access to any digital scores or other written digital materials.

If you register for an in-person course, you have 14 days after purchase to request a partial refund. Please note that your refund will be partial because your digital course guide will give you access to copyrighted materials that we must pay for once you have accessed them, whether or not you attend the course. See above paragraph for further information. The amount of your refund will be the cost of the course less transaction fees and score and digital material costs (score costs will vary by course or project).

We regret that we cannot refund course fees after 14 days owing to changes in singers' plans. We are very happy to hold a credit for you, however, that can be used against future projects.
