About the Work
This stunning composition, conceived on the Scarborough bluffs, depicts sunrise in winter. Text combines Hindu, Indic Ismaili Muslim, and Christian writings.
Hussein Janmohamed is a Toronto-based composer and conductor passionate about the choral arts as a medium for cultural dialogue, building positive relations, and accessing the human spirit.
Our project will feature rehearsals, sectionals by voice type, and special choral techniques and reading sessions to help singers take this masterful composition straight into their hearts.

Your recordings
Singers submit AUDIO recordings (no video submissions) for this project. As always, singers are just as welcome to join us and sing in rehearsal but not submit any recordings.
